Matthew S. Rudd joined McCracken & Frank LLP as a full time associate attorney in August of 2009, after completing a summer clerkship with the Firm in the summer of 2008. He received his J.D. from the University of Illinois Law School in May of 2009. While in law school, Matt held leadership positions in the Student Bar Association, the Intellectual Property Legal Society, and the Black Law Student Association. During his third year of law school, Matt was awarded the Joseph M. Barich Excellence in Patent Law Award.
Prior to law school, Matt worked as a technical consulting analyst with Accenture, and as a technical intern at Caterpillar Corporation. He received his B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana in 2004. While completing his undergraduate engineering degree, Matt also served as Resident Advisor to Forbes Hall, and as the Vice President of the National Society of Black Engineers.
