Nicholas P. Schmidbauer

Nicholas focuses his practice on the drafting and prosecuting of patent and trademark applications, the preparation of validity and infringement opinions, and litigation matters related to patents and copyrights. Nick works primarily in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts including, for example, medical instruments with attendant surgical navigation systems. His experience also includes matters relating to home products technology and manufacturing processes for such products and aircraft technology.

Prior to joining the firm, Nick worked for law firms in Chicago and New York City on various federal litigation matters. Additionally, Nick was involved in various State transactional and litigation matters.
